On May 12, the impressive exhibition “Malerei und Stofflichkeit” (Painting and Materiality) by artist Simone Heitkamp was officially opened at Ottersberg Town Hall. Following the welcome address by Mayor Tim Willy Weber, a special highlight of the evening took place: an engaging, roughly 30-minute interview conducted by Barbara von Monkiewitsch with the artist, offering guests deeper insights into her creative work and techniques.

For everyone who could not attend that evening – or who would like to experience the atmosphere once more – we have captured the finest moments and highlights of the vernissage in a video.

The exhibition can be visited until August 11, 2026, during the regular opening hours of the Town Hall.
